A modern addition to to Vatican's ornate facade with it's pillars and statues the loud speaker system looks a little out of place.

Rome - Colosseum
Rome's Colosseum originally known as the Flavian Amphitheatre.
Built by the Emperor Vespasian 70-72 AD and is considered to be one of the greatest works of Roman engineering.
50,000 spectators would watch mainly gladiatorial contests.
