Villa Carlotta

On the shore of Lake Como lies the Villa Carlotta with beautiful gardens and a fine view of the lake.

The villa was built in the late 17th century by the Milanese marquis Giorgio Clerici.

Today it attracts many many visitors.

This cafe/restaurant could be the most expensive I've ever been to - nothing special but extras and extras and extras on the bill.

Pisa and Florence are certainly very expensive places to eat out in - so be warned .....
